[CPMD-list] known problems & open issues in current (or recent) CPMD versions

hi everybody,

in order to prepare for the next CPMD release i'd like to send
another plea to report any known problems and/or open issues
and/or feature requests. my personal list of known problems and
requested features is now down to a very small number of items
all of which would require rather large rewrites (in other words, 
those won't happen unless somebody else has a lot of time to spend).
so i am very hopeful that most open problems are fixed now.

just to re-iterate the obvious:
if we don't know what is not working, we cannot fix it!

of course, we will need input files that demonstrate your problems.
but please _don't_ send them to the list (in order to avoid
spamming everybody's mailbox including your own). please only send
a message describing the issue. we will then contact you to tell
you where to send the files.

the same is true for any modifications and additional features.

i've set the Reply-To: header of this email accordingly,
so that if you have a decent mail program it should just
work by using the "reply to sender" (and _not_ reply to all)
feature of your mailer.
