Re: [CPMD-list] CPMD on PS3
Yirdaw,
we have CPMD running on PS3 and QS20 blades - it is not officially
supported because additional steps needs to be finalized to get
performance out of it -
major problem is that the spus works at high performance in single
precision and double is needed in most cases to have stable results - we
are working on iterative procedures
to get double precision results from single precision iterations -
This will not be supported yet in the next upcoming release - will let
you know more soon and will be interested to have people ready to test
what we have -

[CPMD-list] CPMD on PS3
Hello all,
Does anyone know if it is possible to compile and run CPMD on the new
playstation (PS3)? If not, will it be possible to do so in the upcoming
versions of CPMD?
Thanks,
-Robel
