[CPMD-list] problem on compiling

Hi,dear all!
   I want to compile CPMD on a new machine. I use PC-PGI platform, and when comp
iling, it give the information that 
   '/usr/bin/ld: warning: i386:x86-64 architecture of input file sysdepend.o' is
 incompatible with i386 output'
    What's wrong with it?The Makefile was adhered here. The information of hardw
are is as below.
   4 Xeon 3 GHz cores (dual dual core) 
   4GB RAM 
   ~100GB free local storage 
   MPI over gigbit etehernt
