would you mind telling what _specific_ problems you have?

otherwise,
- there is the manual
- there are some examples in the cpmd-tests tar archive
- there are some pointers to introductions to car-parrinello simulations
  with plane waves and pseudopotentials on the cpmd website under
  <http://www.cpmd.org/usef.html>
