[CPMD-list] benchmark data for intel itanium and amd opteron

hello everybody!

i am currently evaluating several 64-bit platforms to find
one that will provide a good price-porformace ratio when 
running CPMD (for the type of problems we are running here in bochum).

especially i am looking for benchmark data for running CPMD
on intel itanium and amd opteron machines (single cpu, SMP, 
or distributed network does not matter). so if anyone can
help me out, please send me your data or your experiences.

if people are interested, i can post a summary here later.
