[CPMD-list] Compiling for PC-PGI-MPI

Dear all,

I experience some problems compiling the CPMD code with the PC-PGI-MPI 
option.  When executing make I get the message
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lmpi
hf77: No such file or directory

In view of some earlier posted mails on this problem I installed the 
mpich package but still I get this error message.
Can somebody help me with this problem.  
Probably this is very simple but I have no experience on parallel computing
